This Friday we hope to provide our readers with snapshots of films being released for the upcoming weekend. This will be a brief summary of films that will assist our readers in the area of discernment. Instead of searching other sites and reading lengthy articles, it’s our hope to provide a concise list of all the films of the weekend in one consolidated post. The Judge: a judge (Robert Downey Jr.) who has spent the majority of his life running from his past is forced to defend his father (Robert Duvall) when he is suspected of committing a crime. It should be interesting to see how Downey Jr. handles this serious roll.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is a comedic look at a day in the life of a young boy named Alexander (Ed Oxenbould). It also stars Jennifer Garner and Steve Carell.

Genre: Family movie/comedy

Content: crude humor

Dracula Untold is about a man who is actually a vampire. It is a story that has never before been told . . . oh, wait! In all seriousness, it looks like a more action-packed reimagining of the Dracula story.

Genre: Horror

Content: Violence and frightening scenes involving vampires
