snap·shot – a brief appraisal, summary, or profile.

Every Monday we hope to provide our readers with snapshots of films being released for the upcoming weekend. This will be a brief summary of films that will assist our readers in the area of discernment. Instead of searching other sites and reading lengthy articles, it’s our hope to provide a concise list of all the films of the weekend in one consolidated post. Evil Dead – According to the movie posters, this movie is guaranteed to scar you for life and possibly make you vomit. Genre – horror; content – strong bloody violence and gore, sexual content and language.

Trance – An auctioneer gets mixed up with some criminals and the movie Inception gets ripped off. Genre – drama, thriller; content – grizzly images, language, graphic nudity, and violence.

Jurassic Park 3D – A new twist on the Spielberg classic dinosaur film, now charges four-times the price of admission that it did in ’93 and promises to give you a headache. Genre – adventure, sci-fi; content – violence, language and frightening images.
