Every Monday we hope to provide our readers with snapshots of films being released for the upcoming weekend. This will be a brief summary of films that will assist our readers in the area of discernment. Instead of searching other sites and reading lengthy articles, it’s our hope to provide a concise list of all the films of the weekend in one consolidated post. Taken 2 – Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and his wife are taken hostage and a bunch of stuff gets beaten up and blown up. Genre – action, drama; content – intense action/violence and some sexual content.

Pitch Perfect Hey Pitch Perfect! The eighties called and want their movie back. Genre – cheesy, musical, comedy; content – sexual material, language and drug use.

Frankenweenie – Tim Burton directs another one of his dark films, with the same cast, in this animated film about a dead dog coming back to life. Genre – animation, comedy, sci-fi, horror; content – scary images and action.
