snap·shot – a brief appraisal, summary, or profile.

Every Monday we hope to provide our readers with snapshots of films being released for the upcoming weekend. This will be a brief summary of films that will assist our readers in the area of discernment. Instead of searching other sites and reading lengthy articles, it’s our hope to provide a concise list of all the films of the weekend in one consolidated post. If you wonder why we don’t list the MPAA ratings, please click here.

The Cabin in the Woods – Five archetypical students head to a remote cabin as they fight for their lives in order to find the truth. Genre – horror; content – strong bloody violence and gore, language, nudity & drug use.

The Three Stooges – Moe, Larry & Curly try to save an orphanage, but end up starring in a reality TV show. Genre – comedy; content – slapstick violence and rude humor.

Lockout – A wrongly convicted man is offered his freedom if he rescues the president’s daughter from a prison…in outer space. Genre – sci-fi, action, thriller; content – action violence, language, sexual references.
