snap·shot – a brief appraisal, summary, or profile.

Every Monday we hope to provide our readers with snapshots of films being released for the upcoming weekend. This will be a brief summary of films that will assist our readers in the area of discernment. Instead of searching other sites and reading lengthy articles, it’s our hope to provide a concise list of all the films of the weekend in one consolidated post.   • Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: During the Cold War, a spy is forced out of retirement to uncover a secret agent.  Content – violence, sexuality, nudity, & language; genre – action, mystery, thriller.
  • New Year’s Eve: Director, Garry Marshall, just loves cramming as many celebrities into a holiday as possible [see: Valentine’s Day].  Content – language and sexuality; genre – romance, comedy.
  • Young Adult: A divorced author returns home to purse who ex-boyfriend, who is married with two kids.  Content: language and sexual content; genre – romance, comedy.
  • The Sitter: A college student babysits the kids next door, but has no idea what’s in store for him.  Content: Crude language, violence, drug use and sexual content; genre – comedy.
